I designed this tie-front midi dress with a few things in mind. A little hint of skin is more sexy and tasteful. The longer bowtie serves this purpose by hiding the cutout. Lastly, the midi length balances out the skin exposure at the top.

From casual tank tops to structured styles, ladies were rocking it everywhere! There were Youtube videos and blog posts on how to style the trend. There were even tutorials on how to make your own. The romper was making a comeback. I wondered how it would look like on my petite frame.
When I added the pants to my shopping cart at the thrift store, I didn’t know whether they would fit. The cut wasn’t even something I would normally go for. But I liked how the fabric flowed while the body is in motion. And since my petite frame does not call for that much fabric, I was able to turn the pants into a two-piece set that I could wear.
